It is not easy skipping numerous grades, being the brainiest kid in town, and not gain a lot of haters on the way, and having secret like hers was slightly stressful (understatement).
But when a trip to the museum goes more weirder than it was supposed to be, Sophie realises that there is another world out there, where there are people like her, where she might find out who she really is, where she might finally belong.

As Sophie finds her way across this extravagant and slightly overwhelming place, she realises that there is a lot more to her than she originally thought, a lot more to her very existence.
Secrets are unlocked and mysteries to be uncovered, Sophie, with the help of her newfound friends, must finally realise the true purpose behind her existence, and live up to it.

Book 9 will take Shannon a longer time to write as she has to take care of her newborn baby.
Shannon's contract only lasts till book 9, but she can always renew it, so there may be a book 10 in the series. She had also hinted at an interview that she didn't think she would be able to wrap the entire series in one book, so most likely there will be a book 10, though it is not confirmed. Book 10 will probably be the last book in the series. The title of book 9 will most likely be disclosed in early 2022.











My comments 

 I personally found the series very interesting. The books are filled with twists and turns in every corner, and the plot is beautifully created by Shannon. Each character has their flaws and personality, their own stories and strength. Its filled with wonder and grandeur and is suitable for all ages above 9 years.
